Russ moon, independent Strategic parTner
Russ Moon is a veteran trainer and author that holds, or has held a broad range of fitness certifications and specializations including the StrongFirst SFG Level 1 Kettlebell, CrossFit L1 Trainer and L1 Kettlebell Instructor, TRX Group Trainer and Dragon Door HKC Instructor.
In addition to his experience as a fitness trainer, Russ has extensive experience in Human Resources, recruiting, and professional development. He is a certified MBTI Master Practitioner, Practitioner NLP, and EQ-i certified. Russ uses a combination of instruments, discussions, listening to help people identify their own preferences, tendencies and how to leverage those to work for them, not against them. We reinforce strengths and learn how-to consciously use them effortlessly, while shoring up areas which need development. All in a context which promotes greater authenticity to the individual such that they evolve into a stronger and happier version of themselves.
Russ served as a Talent Sourcing Consultant to SAP, GE and Wells Fargo where he specialized in executive search recruiting for senior vice president positions to C-Suite placements. He created an pipeline of over 1,700 highly qualified executives.
Russ spearheaded the development of a global recruiting/talent sourcing curriculum designed to improve conversion rates, and solidify global partnerships. He facilitated global team training initiatives for on-site engagements across Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and China; developing customized learning curriculum based on the unique needs of each team.
In addition to his corporate career and fitness training experience, Russ served as a First Lieutenant in the U.S. Army. He obtained his B.S. degree from The Citadel and his MBA from Strayer University.
