.Joel Hawks is a 25-year veteran of the financial services industry.  His expertise includes project management, risk management, and financial analysis. Currently, he is a Senior Vice President at MVB Financial Corp, where he leads initiatives focused on artificial intelligence and automation. With over 25 years of experience in financial services, his expertise spans risk management, operational strategy, and emerging technologies shaping the future of financial institutions.  He was previously a Vice President at PNC Bank.  Joel's has an interest in politics that dates back to his childhood.  He has also worked on political campaigns at the local, state, and national level in various roles, including canvasser, database manager, and fiscal manager.  A graduate of Virginia Commonwealth University, where also obtained his MBA, Joel is a competitive cyclist, triathlete, and golfer.  Joel has also served on the planning committee for the annual fundraising golf tournament for the Virginia Home for Boys and Girls.
